Ladies Golf Open Pearl Valley

Since International Women’s day was only a few days ago, it is time to shed some light on our lovely ladies. That’s why this Thursday the 14th March we will be treating them at the Ladies Open which takes place at the Pearl Valley Golf Estate. The beautiful venue is located between two Cape Winelands - Paarl and Franschhoek, just 30 minutes outside of Cape Town. Not only is the course ranked as 5th best in South Africa according Golf Digest, club captain Lizanne Heydenrych mentioned the event to be the most popular Ladies Open in the Western Cape.

Proceedings of the day

The day will commence with a shotgun start at 10:30am. Stop by at the 10th hole to be treated to some champagne and white chocolate covered strawberries. Our new ladies range will be available to be tried on. At 4 pm the last swing will be taken and it’ll be time to announce the winners.

What to wear

Since the theme is Great Gatsby no shimmer or shine should be left behind. Dig out your sequin covered items and don’t hold back. Any free-flowing, sleeveless midi or mini dress, embellished with fringed details, lace or embroidery will fit seamlessly in the theme. Strappy, slip-style models or little black dresses will also do. Of course, the flapper headband and oversized pearl necklace can’t be left out. Amongst the prices that will be handed out is ‘Best Dressed Lady’, so make sure to up your chances!

How to match

To make sure your outfit matches from head to toe and you’ll be ready to hit some balls we have two perfect pairs to top it all off; try the Olbia or let the Temptation lure you into something sparkly. The soon dropping Vicuna sparks and red and silver Pine also don’t shy away from any glitz and glamour.
